Sara Dillon

Fitness Coach

Sara was a competitive athlete with a background in cheer, gymnastics, and dance. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2015, studying International Relations and Technology Management, and spent the last part of her education at the Universite de Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France.

During her undergraduate career, Sara recognized her passion for health, fitness, and leadership while working in Student Affairs. After struggling with health problems, she decided to pursue knowledge of health management through strength training and nutrition. Sara completed a Fitness and Marketing Internship and soon after became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She spent an additional year working in the tech industry, but continued her passion for fitness as a Crossfit athlete and physical therapy intern, working with recovering athletes. She returned to her hometown to join the Results Fitness team, hoping to help people reach goals and gain confidence.

Sara believes that attitude is the #1 factor in achievement. Her goal in the fitness industry is to help people reach goals while feeling confident and healthy regardless of body shape and size. Of our core values, Sara’s favorites are #7 “Constantly Learn, Always Improve” and #11 “Keep Leading.” Her favorite quote on leadership is “When I talk to managers, I get the feeling that they are important. When I talk to leaders, I get the feeling that I am important.” To apply these values, Sara maintains a flexible and ever-evolving coaching approach based on clients’ individual learning styles and goals.

I joined Results Fitness in January'12. The first thing I noticed was how helpful & friendly everyone was. I have learned so much about nutrition & exercise, & the things I have learned have inspired me to make health & lifestyle changes.
